GST invoices shall be issued by the company to the customers at the time of purchase provided correct GST number is entered by the customers at the time of creating customer account. Please note that, as on date, there is no mechanism available to co-relate and/or validate the GST number being provided at the time of purchase. Also, GST number once entered cannot be amended/updated for prior purchases. Under GST Act provisions, it shall not be possible for the company to upload the customer’s GST details after the purchase or retrospectively, and no input tax benefits can be claimed on such purchases.
